I made an awesome Glee video but youtube is being a douche about it and disabled the audio because of copyright infringement. Stupid The Hush Sound, just for that my second favorite band is now Mute Math. Take that. While I am trying to see if I can get around youtube I thought I would post my year in the review.
January: I guess I should do the traditional New Year Resolution post, even though I normally don't do New Year's resolutions because I think they are dumb and most people don't follow through.
February: I haven't done one of these in a while, so I thought I would give it a shot.
March: I am having difficulty deciding what to do.
April: My mom has been having a severe stomach problems for the last five days.
May: I'm just reading through my friends page, minding my own business, when I am hit by two sad stories.
June: I’m sitting in the local Starbucks writing this where I will post it later tonight.
July: So I may be just a little tipsy right now because I keep confusing myself.
August: It's official, I have written something that is novel length.
September: Too lazy too post much more than short abbreviated list.
October: Life has just been meh lately.
November: I'm pretty tired but I thought I would do a quick post.
December: Testing my fancy livejournal app on my fancy iPod touch. Go me!
So apparently I have been tired, indecisive, and drunk this year. Well I guess that is something. Now I'm going to go be pissed off at youtube.

What we do depends on what's going on and how we feel about going out. Sometimes we go to a party or have one ourselves. Usually we stay home. This year we will either be home, on our way home, or at my mom's. We're going down there tomorrow but we aren't sure yet whether we're coming back Thursday or Friday.
Reflection? Uh, no.

So I've made another poster...

... I'm only halfway through 'The Hunger Games' and I'm loving every page of it! It's got a 'Percy Jackson' pace to it, with bits of 'V For Vendetta' here and there... and a bit of 'Gamer' too...
If you like twisted, post-apocalyptic future story lines, you should definitely read it! =D

I went shopping with my mother-in-law yesterday. It was crowded but not too bad. I didn't buy anything because I didn't need anything, but she got some good deals. We're having to get a new radiator for my car so I'm trying not to spend any more extra money this month.
My in-laws decided to go to a movie last night and I have no interest in seeing Avatar, which left me home alone to catch up with internety stuff. Of course I spent most of that time on my Facebook games and LJ. I had to go back to skip=600 and by the time I got there I was mostly skimming, but I did get it done. Someone remind me not to get so far behind again, okay?
Except we'll probably be out of town for a few days this week so it's going to happen all over again right away. *sigh*
That reminds me, Project 365 people, don't forget to start on Friday! I should be back in town that day, if not before, but I'm reminding you now just in case.

It's Boxing day, and I made icons from three of my favorite fandoms: Harry Potter, Narnia and Merlin.
Tomorrow, or sometime next week, it will be all about the movies I love: Star Wars, Casper, Eternal Sunsihine of the Spotless Mind, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Avatar, Peter Pan, Dorian Gray... well, I hope I get to finish all of those movies anyway.
[23] Narnia casts (Will, Anna, Skandar and Georgie)
[40] Merlin stills and season 2 promo shots
[57] Harry Potter movies (mainly Harry-Ginny & Ron-Hermione, 11 Bonnie Wright)
( Where to go: Hogwarts, Narnia amd Camelot? )
Comments are a joy for icon makers, so leave some love.
Credit, however is A MUST.
No hotlinking, please.

Wow. Some people really will complain about anything. In Farmville they gave us a "holiday tree" to fill up with gifts from our neighbors. At first you could get I think 30 presents, then they upped it to 100. Some of us sold off the presents we were still being gifted after 100. I did.
We could start opening the gifts on the 24th. I waited until Christmas Day just because I wasn't really around on the 24th. Some of the items inside the gifts were common (chickens), some were more rare (alien cows - no longer available any other way) and some were items that you normally have to use real cash to buy (my mystery boxes contained 2 gingerbread houses and a Santa's workshop).
On top of that, we can still send, accept and open more gifts through January 7.
And people are bitching about it. FREE STUFF. FREE virtual stuff at that. They got too many common items. They didn't get any mystery boxes. Another poster got a golden chicken while they only got a white one. They sold off a bunch of gifts between receiving 100 and finding out that we can still add more to our trees once we open some.
Some people just like being miserable. They must be super annoying to be around all the time.

I really miss my dad and I have really no desire to celebrate Christmas. I have tried with all of my might, buying presents, making cookies, and watching Christmas movies but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I mean I have listened to almost no Christmas music this season. I thought about going and checking norad santa but that just made me sadder. My family just keeps going on and on about Christmas like nothing is different, and for them nothing is. They just want me to spend all my time with them since it doesn't need to be divided. But I just don't feel any Christmas spirit this year. I am glad it will be over tomorrow. It's just really not the same without my dad. I feel like there is a hole in my life.
I miss you dad.
And from the corner of my eye
I saw your dressed all in white
I saw you pass right by
But maybe I had too much wine
I hope you come back tonight
you never said goodbye
I miss you dad.
And from the corner of my eye
I saw your dressed all in white
I saw you pass right by
But maybe I had too much wine
I hope you come back tonight
you never said goodbye

Also, help make Misha Collins "Best of Twitter 2009" HERE. You can vote once every 20 minutes. He's made it from #70 to #2! Even if you're not a big Misha/Castiel fan, you don't want those annoying kids from X-Factor to win, right?
A big thank you to
Have a lovely Christmas Eve and Day! And if you don't celebrate Christmas, happy Chrismukkah, Kwanza, solstice, Hannukkh, and whatever else I might have missed.

I'm glad I took today off. I've been busy cleaning and getting ready for the in-laws, and I'm tired already. They should be here in a few hours. I hope they don't have any trouble with the weather. We're just getting rain here but I haven't paid attention to whether the snow they were talking about earlier in the week was still going to hit western Missouri.
I hope I'm doing sudoku right. Sometimes I mess up so much I have to look it up in the back to see where I went wrong. Sometimes I get it right and only have to erase 1 or 2 squares and change numbers. I hope I get better because I hate looking in the back I'd rather figure out where I went wrong on my own.
I feel like there is so much to say and also so little. Is that odd?
Last we chatted I was finishing up my student teaching, which I have officially finished and passed which means I have officially finished all classes. As of March I will have my degree.
The bad thing that happened that day was me rearending another car and then I had to go out and find a new car. It was so much more complicated than that one sentence but I feel really lazy to talk about it.
I don't even know exactly why I am writing today. I have been in a funky mood the last couple days and I think it is the thought of Christmas without my dad that is getting me down. Every year for on Christmas eve I would go to his house. It's just really sad to think that he won't be there this year. It's been getting me down, but I think it is helping that I am living with David. I think my mom wonders why I don't want to spend the next couple days home, but I really just don't want to. I miss my dad and I really don't want to replace those traditions we had. I don't want to be at a place where nobody else is thinking about him at all.
Anyways. On a happier note I am slowly catching up with shows. I am caught up with The Amazing Race, Dexter, and Glee. Glee is now my new favorite show and I think that Puck (Mark Salling) might be the hottest/my favorite guy on television right now. And Jane Lynch as Sue just cracks me up to no end. I have been rewatching episodes that I burned over and over again and listening to the soundtrack and....don't tell anybody but reading Puck/Rachel fanfiction. What can I say? I am extremely bored.
I have put my application into a couple places and we will see what comes of that. I am not going to worry too much until after the 1st because probably a lot of district offices are closed until the new year.
If I don't update tomorrow, I just want to say I hope everybody has a Merry Christmas

For my last post before Christmas, I've made my 6th batch of Anti-Twilight/Pro-HP icons, because nothing says "holiday spirit" like spreading the hate! :D

I'm glad I watched the Brittany Murphy SNL clip on Sunday, because apparently NBC pulled it the next day. I'm sure it's out there somewhere, just a little more inconvenient to find. I liked her but I thought it was very funny.
My in-laws are coming tomorrow so I'm not sure how much I'm going to be around over the next few days. They're scheduled to go home on Sunday but they've said they might stay a few more days.
